By law, food business operators must ensure that food handlers receive the appropriate supervision and training in food hygiene. It is also the most popular food safety qualification accepted by enforcement officers and auditors.
Who should complete the course?
This qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be, food handlers in the workplace.
The aim of this qualification is to prepare delegates for employment in a catering, retail or manufacturing role, or to support a role in the workplace.
By the end of the course, delegates will have the skills to:
- Understand the importance of food handlers keeping themselves and work areas clean and hygienic
- Understand the importance of keeping food products safe
